In collaboration with world-renowned architects Kengo Kuma & Associates and the H. C. Andersen Museum, Odense, VOLA celebrates Hans Christian Andersen’s legacy through Denmark’s cultural tradition of enduring design.
The film is the second within VOLA's ongoing culture series, continuing to highlight their modern relevance by showcasing how human-centric Danish design remains deeply embedded in Danish culture.
“Andersen is just timeless, because he speaks of human life and all that encompasses. So, it’s not just the happiness, it’s also the sadness and it’s everything in between. He manages to make the common thing magical, to re-enchant that which we completely ignore. The extraordinary in the ordinary of human existence.” – Niels Bjørn Friis, H. C. Andersen Museum
